We have been very well-known in the community for hosting Trunk & Treat for the past 15+ years.  We are blessed to have over 600 children and adults pass through our doors every October 31^st to enjoy getting candy and other goodies – including hot dogs!

“Two ways of keeping your hands warm!”

Another well-known activity is the handing out of handwarmers during the local Jack Frost Parade in downtown Ironwood every December.  Through donations from WalMart and Thrivent, we are able to distribute 500 handwarmers to those enjoying the parade.

Trinity Lutheran Church thanks all of the volunteers and businesses who help to support this worthwhile outreach. They distribute food to those in need at the Union Station located in Ironwood. This event happens once a month and whether they are handing out food, getting the supply of food ready, or directing cars, volunteers are always needed and it is a very rewarding experience for all involved.

We usually have an under-the-tent outdoor rummage sale in August to support missions.  They have been very well-received in the community and bring a lot of people to visit our church.  Come and take a look next August!

We currently house the Gogebic-Ontonagon Community Action Agency’s Head Start Program in our educational wing. It is a joy to hear the pitter-patter of little feet and hear the voices of the children.  We have a good-sized playground equipped with a lot of fun equipment for them to enjoy.  During inclement weather, they make use of our large parish hall for physical activities.
